Urban Rhythm is inspired by the decorative details on brutalist architecture. These buildings are often regarded as sterile or cold, because the architects kept applied ornamental details to a minimum. However, brutalist buildings have many clever decorative details on their functional elements. The playful use of geometry and rhythm of angles of supporting elements such as beams and columns provide visual interest, light and shade, surface, texture and movement across the buildings, if the viewer is willing to look again.
